Nosmo v Kris B
Since the duo's first production, Nosmo & Kris B have have been an international success. This first track, ”One for the Road” caught the ear of Sasha, who featured it on his Essential Mix live from Miami. The praise and support of this first release lead to the formation of their live/electronic group Grayarea; the band and single were both quickly signed to top UK label Hope Recordings. After gaining the respect of the DJ community, they quickly became fan favorites when John Digweed featured a live recording of them as a guest set on his Kiss 100 show. Grayarea was promptly signed to AM Only, who booked them for several headlining US tours, Ultra Music Festival and many high profile clubs/events around the North America. Kris B relocated to Los Angeles, where he became a resident for Spundae & Godskitchen. He has had continued success with his solo productions, being featured on Global Underground, and taking #1 on the Balance charts.
Nosmo v Kris B have had several #1 chart singles and have been featured on compilations by Tiesto, Ferry Corsten & Global Underground to name a few. They've had numerous Essential Mix plays, radio support from PVD, Pete Tong, Cattaneo, Digweed, and have had releases & remixes on some of the industry's most respected labels: Bedrock, Distinct'ive, Hope, Silver Planet and many more. Their combined discography & support list is a veritable who's who of dance music.
Nosmo & Kris B's recent track Goodfellas "Goodfellas" (which has a re-creation of the piano hook from the end of Eric Clapton's "Leyla") has been getting radio support from PVD & Markus Schulz, they are working out licensing as an exclusive for PVD's 'Cream 2008' compilation. They have two remixes of Nalin & Kane's classic "Open Your Eyes" coming out on Supra Recordings, and a 2008 version of their Grayarea debut hit "One for the Road", with new mixes from Tiger Stripes, Tim Davison, Blake Jarrel, D:Fuse & Hiratzka on Flow Vinyl. They recently launched their own label Nightshade Music, their releases getting support from Oakenfold, Hernan Cattaneo, D:Fuse, high chart support on Balance, and have broken top 50 sales on Beatport's Progressive, Deep House and Electro House charts.
